THE JAMESON RAID.
Cavktown, July 31
One of the troopers who took part in the Jameson Raid, and Avas wounded and subsequently imprisoned, hos recovered £500 from the British South Africa Company, on the ground that the object of the raid ■was falsely represented to him to be the rescue of ■women -at the Rand.
