GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.

i Messrs Wi i,i jam IS. Reynolds and Co., Bond stieot, report for the week ending 9th June as follows :— Wheat, like all other grain, keeps very firm, and to-day is if anything, worth more than it was a week ago, especially for the prime samples. We quote : Velvet, 43 b'tl ; southern grown, 4s 4d ; I'uscau, 4-i 3d to 4s si; red sorts, 43 2rf to 4s 3d ; fowl feed, from as to 3s Bd. Oats : The deliveries have eased off to a marked extent, and as the demand fiom Australia continues good, the market to-day is very firm, and there is every indication of to-day'a ra es being maintained for some time to come, despite the fact that heavy rains have fallen in t\.uslr<dia We quote piMiie Sutherlands 2s sd, ami if veiy good, up to 2s 6d ; bright heavy aparrowbills. "a id t > 2s 4si ; good sound, 2s 3d ; p.nd oidioary, 2s Id to 2s 2d, and all offering sells freely. Barley : Very little of this grain is now ottering a« growers have nearly all already sold. Piime Lakes grown is worth up to 4s 3d; from other distiicfct, 4s; good sound, 3a 3d to 3s 9d ; milling, tip to '.Is ; feed, 2s. Potatoes, strange to say, have not improved in price at all, owing to , supplies being heavier this week, and it is difficult ; to get £3 5s 'for prima northern and £3 for j southern. Chaff is also a little easier in price, ! especially if not prime. The latter, however, sells readily enough at £4 5s to £4 7s fid ; good souud, £3 17s 6d to £4 2s 6'd ; medium, £3 10s to £3 355, and we think that these prices are likely to rule f .r some little time to come.
