Oats : There is no change to report;. If anything, there is a nlightly less inquiry than was t- xperienced last week. Bright heavy feed sorts are in ruoit demand. We quote : Good to best feed, 2s 2Jd to 2s 3Jd ; fair to medium, 2s Id to 2s 2d ; ba.-,t milling and seed, 2s 4d to 2s 7d per bufehel (sacks txtra, net). Barley : All coming forward meet with ready sale, especially for piiine malting i-amplev. The quantity offering is somewhat diminishing. We have a special outlet for malting and goo" milling samples. We quote : Prime malting. 4s to 4-j 2d ; good, 3s 6d to 3s 0d ; medium. 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; feed and milling, 2s 9d to 3s 3d per hushel (sAcks extra, net). Chaff —The market during the week has been very bare, aud this, combined with the good inquiry from shippers, has had the effect of causing a rise in prices of 7f (id to lOs'per ton. This rise, we few, however, will not be maintained as the Sydney market shows a decline of 10s per ton. We quote : Prime oaten sheaf, £4 5s to £\ 7» 6d ; extra prime up to £\ 10-> ; fair to medium, £3 17s 6i to £4 2s (5d per ton (ex truck, bag* extra, net). Potatoes — A fair demand exists for prime Derwents, and large business has been done during the week in these. We quote : Prime northern Derwents, £3 2s fid to £3 7s 6d ; prime Fouthern 'I terwents, £2 15? to £3 ; seed from £3 10d to £4 10s per ton (bags in, net) NoiE.— We are just landing a large shipment of specially selected clovers, samples and quotations on application. We have a large supply of "Chaleage" wheat fertiliser of highest guaranteed analysis (prica £5 12s 6d), standards, wire, phosphorus, and all farm and station requisites at lowest market rates.
