Ploughing is making a start, and good men are quickly picked up. Rabbiters are in good demand — trappers especially. Dairy boys and lads are always wanted, even at the slack The building trade in town keeps in good heart, but we may count on a tapering off when winter sets in. Now is the season for gardeners, and there is inquiry for trained men. Wages all round keep healthy.
