Aucki.a:»d,. April 13. The Victoria return from 75 loads is 14Coz 10-lwr, value £457. From 1890 to date the Waihi mine at Auckland has won 146,0000*s of gold, valued at £520,1)8. The yield in 1395 was 36,0000z. valued at £120,334. Last year's returns gave £135,205, and threu months f the present year £34,493 worth. April 15 Owing to the continued depression in the London and Continental mining; markets the International syndicate li»b decided to abandon all optionß held over mining pioperties in this colony. The Kuranui Caledonian (Thames) gave the handsome yield of 40loz 9dwt of melied gold, valued at £1067, from 200 tons of ore. The representatives of the New Zealand Exploration Company have secured a further option of 18 months of the property known as tho "White Star" at Coromaodel. The work of development will be vigorously prosecuted. It is proposed to form a company at Ilotne with a cpital of £150,000, the veudorn to receive 50,000 paid-up shares and £2000 cash, and tho working capital is to be not les3 than £30,000. The company have already spent £31S0 in developing the property. The May Quean crushed 60 loads for 108cz of the value of £202.
The Tararua Creek Company crushed 250 tons for 1750z of the Vilue cf £301.
