Prices, we regret to say, show a decline on those ruling last, week, in sympathy with the Londoa market, which shows a decline of id psr lb. Is 6d to 2s Od ; do pelts (small aud damaged), 3d to Is each. Hides continue in good demand, and we"cm place any quantity of well flayed stout ox at good prices. We quote : Primest heavy ox, 3Ju to 3}d ; medium, 2id to 2^d ; light and inferior, IJd to 2d per lb. Taltow. — Market unchanged. Some large consignments have reached-us this week, and hav<' been disposed eofc of as follows :— Best rendered mutton, 14s 6d to Jsj lid ; medium, 13s 6d to 14s ; roueh fat, Ss to lls p^r cwt. Wheat. — The market shows more activity, and since last repoit we have made goo'J- sales xt prices on a par with those ruling laßt week. We have inquiry for prime seed Hne3 of Tuscan and red sorts, aud can place these at hi^h prices if clean and true 1o name. We qnoie: Prime southern Tuscan and red sorts, 3s lljd to 4* ; go id 3h lOJd to 3s lid ; fair to medium, 3s 9d to 3s lOd ; velvet, 2d to 2J.1 more ; whole chick, 3s 3d to 3s 6d per bushel (sacks in, terms). Uats.— This market is iv an excited state, and since last report piices have advanced 2s per bushel. We can place large quantities of feed, milling, and seeding sorts at the following prices : Good to piime feed, 2a to 2s Id ; fair to medium do, Is lid to Is Did ; bast milling, 2s 2d to 2s 3d ; seed, long Tartarians, and Duns, 2s 2d to 2-i 4d per bushel (sacks extra, net). Barley. — There is, a brisk demand for all malting descriptions, and we can place large quantities at full rates. We quote : Ckod to best malting, 3s 9d to 4_s ; extra prime frlraae more ; fair to medium malting, 3s to 3s 6d ; feed and milling, 2s 3d to 2s 9d per bushel (sacks extra, nat). Chaff.— l he market during the week has been well supplied with all deicriptions, and prices in consequence are slightly lower than last week. We quote : Piime oaten sheaf, £3 2* (id to £3 5.s ; extra heavy and well cut. up to 70s ; fair to medium, £2 15s to £2 17s 61 per ton (ex truck, bags extra, net). Note — We hold heavy stocks of primest agricultural seeds, wire, standards, bheep and rabbit netting, and all farm and stationrequiiites, and can quote low prices. A fresh supply of the now famous Highland sheep dip has been ordered by cable, and will be landed in the course of a few days. Johnston (Flag Swamp), 7<i to 8s !)d ; Mr J. Stewart (Dunbark) and Mr A. G. Davis (Dunback), 2 pens at market rates. Sheepskins.— The sales were attended by the usual number of, the trade, but competition was less keen than usual, and prices show a slight decline on late rates. Grain and Produce. — Our 'usual report was published on Tuesday, since which nothing fiesh has , transpired.
