Pears are practically unobtainable. Appleß range from 7s 6d toj 8s Si for local cooking ; 8s 111 1 10s dessert ; imported apples, 12s. Orauges :, D.U. Tahiti (for which we are agtnts), the best for keeping, with little wa.-te, 6s 6d to 7s ; Island, 5s 6i ; Sydnuy, for best qualily'ss 6d to 1 6s, inferior and medium 4s 9d to 5s 3d. Pineapples, 8a per case. Bananas, '2d to 2i<jL Tomatoes, fid. Peanut* , 3d to 3Jd. Cocoanuts, 10s. Barcelonas, 1 walnuts, new dates, figs, Ac. lowest prices. I Produce —Egcs very scarce, and wanted. Frosh butter (want d), 8d to lid ; prime salt butter, 8d to 1 9d (wanted). Bacon : Roll, 5H- Hams, 6id to 7d. Cheese : Factory. 4Jd to -*}d . dairy, 3}d to 4Jd. Honey: Prime, 4Jd ; medium, 3d to 3Jd. Beeswkx (good damand), Is Id. Potatoes: Derwents. ' £2 153 to i! 3; p.ime Beed kidneys have a good I ipquiry. Onions, £7 10s to 1 £8 10s. Poultry has good demand. We receive consignments any day. We also receive consignments of grain, friiit, 1 and farm produce of all descriptions. We advise our country friends to give our Austr»lian'Aromatio Horse and Cattle JB'ood a trial, 5s per 71b bag.
