RABBITSKIN MARKET.
Messrs Remshardt and Co. (near railway station) report as follows :—
Supplies are still inadequate to satisfy requirements, and for that reason the market in general remains very firm at late quotations. In the auction sales this week prices were very irregular owing to Home of them being attended byles'B than half the usual number of buyers ; consequently priceß in one sale showed a decline in most of the lots of greys up to 2d per lb, and in dressing Skius up to 3d. Privately we continue to pay same high prices as last week— viz., up to 14d for ordinary grey thin-pelted winters.
