DUNEDIN GOLF CLUB. The Dunedin Golf Club played their monthly medal competition for May on Saturday. The weather was perfect for golfing, and there were about the average number of entries. When the score cards were being returned Mr C. Dickson, with 101 net, was considered well up. This score was tied by Mr W. C. MacGregor with 103, less 2—lol,2 — 101, which shows good steady play, and was the best gross score of the day. However, the victorious competitor was net revealed until the card of Mr R. T. Wheeler, Jun., was received, 115 less 18—97. Mr Wheeler well merits his win, and may be expected near the top again, even with a reduced handicap. The winter championship of the club by holes will be commenced in July.
