The directors of the Wymlham D.iiry Factory Company report that the past year's operations have resulted in an estimated loss of ,£344 3s 6d. The directors for a season or two made monthly payments x gainst milk of 3d per gallon, and continued doing no last season until receiving advice of the utter collapse of tho cheese markets at Home, when they reduced payments to 2d. They aie of opinion that a return should be made to the old system of progress payments until such time as the finances warraut an increased payment being made. It has also been decided to pay for milk by results throughout tho coming season.
