Mr I. W. Raymond, auctioneer, Wyndham, reports having sold the Dunalister home block (600 acres) to Mr Gilbert Ward at a sati«factory price. Thepurchast-r h»8 secured one of the properties in Southland whirh for natural beauties cannot be surpibsed. The land is also acknowledged to be particularly good. Mr Raymond also reports the sale of Lot 2, Ocean View estate, 300 acres, at £5 per acre, to Mr Samuel Miller, of Tokouui. Despite the depres&ing effects of low prices for farm produce it is quits refrcsliine: to observe some having sufficient confidence to purchase land at these pi ices.
