THE FROZEN MEAT TRADE.
Messrs John Hotson and Co. (says the Argus) have received account, sales of the shipment made by the Maori King, whicb. show the following returns to the owners on the station after paving all expenses, including railage to Newport. The returns include pelts and fat, viz. :— 301 crossbred wethers, account Mr S. Winter Cooke, Murndal, Branxholme, averaging 701b in weight, 11s 10id per head clear; 605 crossbred wethers, account Messrs Black Bros., Noorat, Victoria, averaging 661b in weight. 10s 8d; 278 crossbred wethers, account Mr William Telford, Burnewang East, averaging 651b in weight, 10s 7Jd; 421 crossbred wethers, account Messrs M'Farland Bros., Barooga, New South Wales, averaging 561b in weight, 10s ; crossbred wethers from Mr C. A. Izon, Sandford. Oorowa, N.S.W., averaging 5 1 Jib in weight, Sa 2Jd ; 214 merino wethers, account Mr Henry Hay, Collendina, Corowa. N.S.W., averaging 511b in weight, 6s lid ; 517 merino wetherß, account Mr William Kiddle, Waibundrie, Albury, N.S.W., averaging 521b in weight, 6s 4Jd ; 459 nu-rino wethers, account Mr • C. L. Grifiith, Albury, N S.W., averaging 44ilb in weight, 63 ; 230 merino wethers, account Messrs Whittv and Grove, Merton, Corowa, N.S.W., averaging 46ilb in weight, Ps ; merino wetbers from Mr William Ross, The Gums, Caramut, averaging 501b in weight, 5s lOd.
