GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKET.
Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as follows at their auction sale yesterday :—: — Oats.— Dull, and prices slightly easier. Milling, Is 5Jd to Is 6d ; medium feed, Is 4Jd to Is sd ; inferior, Is 3d to Is 4d (sacks extra). Wheat.— Milling scarce and wanted. Medium quality, 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; inferior, 2s 4d to 2s 5d ; fowl feed, Is lOd to 2s 3d (sacks in). Barley.— Milling, 2a 4d to 2s 9d ; feed unsaleable. Potatoes.— Plentiful, and very dull. Derwents, £2 to £2 5j ; kidneys unsaleable unless prime. Chaff. — Prime oat sheaf (scarce). £2 10a to £2 12a fid ; medium, £2 to £2 7s 6d ; inferior, £1 10 a to £1 17s 6d per ton (sacks extra).
