Constant Reader, Invercargill, asks: Would you kindly inform me what was Rata's time and handicap for the trot which he won in Dunedin, also colour, age, and height of the horse, and where he is at present located, and his owner. Is the horse blind of an eye ? Answer : Rata's time was 9min ssec ; he had 50sec start ; he is a bay gelding, aged, standing about 15.2; believe he is now about Temuka or Timaru ; Mr J. Syme was his nominator ; never heard that the horse was blind of an eye. Fullerton, Oamaru, asks what ye,ar it was that Haroun-al-Raschid won the Waterloo Cup.-r— Answer : 1887.
