Messrs Arthur M'Donald and Co., Woolbrokers and Auctioneers, report as follows : — Wool. — On Monday, Septembers, we will offer at auction a catalogue of greasy, washed, scoured, and elipti. Oonsidpring the season of the year, consignments are reaching us freely. There is certain to be very keou competition at our sales, and we will be pleased to see as many sellers as possible present at our sale 3. as they will be able to judge for themselves whether we obtain better prices than is being made unn>r the old system. Shcepsldns. — As previously intimated we will hold regular weekly auction sales of these, commencing on Monday, September 3. and by not charging commission to the buyers we are absolutely certain to get much higher prices than can be obtained by the other auctioneers under the old system. Consignments are reaching us free'y, and we will offer large catalogues. If we are well supported by sellers it is needless to poiDt out that the other salesmen will jn time be compelled to sell on the same terms as we do. Circulars dealing with the subject and weekly reports posted to any address on application.
