Wheat : The market lias improved 2d a bushel, and ■we now quote best Tuscans, 3s 4d to 3s 4£d ; velvets and red straw, 3s 3d ; Southern, 3s to 3s 2d, and 3s 3d for a very good sample. Fowls' wheat, good whole, 2s 3d to 2s tid ; broken and medium, 2s ; inferior. Is Od. Barley: Best malting. 3s lOd to 4s 6d; milling, 3s to 3s "8d ; feed, 2s to 2e Od. Oats: All coming forward are easi'y placed. Best milling, 2s to 2s Id ; bright, plump feed, Is lOd to Is lid ; medium, Is 8d (o Is 9d ; Flour: Timaru rollt-r, £8; 50's, £8 15s f.0.b. ; Oamaru and town brands, £7 lot ; 50*8, £8 fls ; Southern stone, £7 10s ; 50's, £8. Oatmeal : Long ton (in bulk), £10 f.o b. ; 25's, £10; 7'n and 14's, £12 (both packed in sacks). Bran, £3 f.o.b. Dunedin ; £2 Iss f o.b. Oamaru and Timaru. Sharps: £3 5s fob. »Hineilin ; £3 f.o.b. Oamaru and Timaru. Potatoes: Bpft Northern, Sos ; Southern, 65j to 755. Pigs : Well M, up to 1801b, 4jd. Chaff: Oaten, 55s to 60s ; wheaten, green cut. 455 ; srmw do, 40s. Carrots: 30s. Turnips: 13s Blackdust : 9d. Meal 'seed: £3. Straw, oaten and wheaten: 40s. Hay, oaten : 60s. Hay, clover and ryegrass : 60a. Butter: Salt, fld to lOd fkegs extra)'.' Cheese: Akaroa, 4d; loaves, 4£d; local, 3|d. Hams and bacon : Former, 8d to 9d ; rolls and flitches, 6£d to 7d per lb.
