RABBITSKIN MARKET.
Messrs Arthur M'Donald and Co. Manufacturers' Agents, report as follows :— A large business is being done in this line, at prices which, considering the unsettled state of the London market, must be very sai isfnetory to sellers. We notice that many of the skins now coming to hand from low country show signs of off season. It would therefore be well for rnbbiteis to keep skins taken from this out separate from their winter collection, otherwise thevnre apt lo spoil the sale of the whole. Prices are fairly iirm at 16d for good lots of winter greys, and a little more for prime. W. B. Andei?sos, opposite railway station, Dunedin, reports as follows : — Some apprehension appears to exist as to the position and tuture prospects of the London market, but that does not seem to make buyers timid, as they continue to pay very high prices indeed. lam still paying from 16d to J7d for superior to selected thinpeltcd skins. Net cash on delivery ; no deductions.
