SORE TEATS IN COWS.
Milkman, writes : — One or two of my cows have sore teats, please give me a good remedy for it.
Sore and chapped teats are beat treated by the application of the ointment of turpentine or the ointment of verdigris. Bathe the teats in warm water and apply the ointment, taking care when milking that the ointment does not taint the milk.
