The annual statutory meeting far the election of a School Committee for the ensuing year was held on the 12fch inst. , Mr W. Williams, Secretary to the retiring Committee, in the chair. The attendance was meagre in the extreme, not; a dozen poraons Wng present, and Borne of thp
their absence. The following gentlemen were elected : — Messrs W. Williams, T. Hughes, O. Owens, G. Owens, J. Griffiths, J. Thurlow, W. Thurlow, C. Dungey, and J. Murdoch.
