ST. BATHANS.
The annual meeting for the election of a School Committee for the current year, was held on the evening of the 12 th inst. in the school-room ; Mr John Ewing in the chair. There was a smaller attendance than usual. The Secretary, Mr W. Pyle, read the annual statement, which was considered satisfactory, and showed a small balance in favour of the School fund. The following gentlemen were duly elected :— Messrs D., Aubray, J. Teague, J. Morton, J. Cormick, W. Pyle, J. Ewing, W. M'Connochie, J. Melvin, G. H. Smith, R. Wheeler, and J. Eagle. A vote of thanks to the retiring Committee, and to the Amateur Dramatic Club for their valuable assistance, during the past year, in raising funds for the school, terminated the proceedings,
