OLD TIME DANCE
LEAGUE ENTERTAINED RECORD ATTENDANCE There was a record attendance of district residents and visitors at the fortnightly old time dance held in the Drill' Hall on Saturday, the visiting league teams being guests on the occasion, and all present joined in entertaining the visitors, who spent a most pleasant evening. Smith's orchestra provided popular music and were insistently encored. Supper was also provided.
The M.C., Mr. R. Siddells welcomed the league players and the captain replied. Novelty dances were won by Miss M. Gopperth and partner (spot waltz) and Miss R. Looney and partner (Monte Carlo). The lucky door ticket winner was Miss M. McSweeney.
