BENZINE PRICES

FIXED 'FOR BAY OF PLENTY Under the Motor-Spirits Prices (Bay of Plenty) Regulations 1910, winch have just been Gazetted, the following price,si per gallon have been fixed for the Opotiki area (No. 3) of the Bay of Plenty

By wholesaler, general; wholesaler to agent, in bulk; to bulk consumer : Standard 2/6td per gallon, premium 2/7, _

Wholesaler, to agent, in drums: Standard 2/sid, premium 2/6. Retail, general: Standard 2/9i, premium 2/10.

Retail, in drums; to purchasers entitled to Customs rebate: Standard.2/Bi, premium 2/9. It will be noted that the general retail figure is slightly lower than that ruling at present. It is also interesting to note that the prices in the Whakatane (No. 2 area) are Id. per gallon nioro than in Opotiki The Edgecombe, Thornton (No. 1 Area) arc 2d. per gallon lower than Whakatane area, but ]d. per gallon more, than Opotiki.

‘ Waimana does not appear to be in any of the defined areas. The Opotiki area only includes the borough and a small portion of tho county embracing the Opotiki dairy factory.
