VICTORY FOR BRITAIN UTMOST AID URGED (News by Cable,.) NEW YORK, Sept. 25. Mr. William Green, president of the American Federation of Labour, addressing the American Legion convention at Boston, said : American people feel that Britain s victoiy is vital lor the United States’ seeurity. Consequently, it would seem logical that Americans should extend to Britain and her heroic army and navy al lthe support possible short of war.”
The convention approved of a resolution that the Australian-bort, Labour leader, _ Harry Bridges, should lie deported.
