MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
THUESDAY, Deoeujieb 12th. (Before Wilson Fishek, and John Ingbam, J.P.'s.) ' The following cases were heard at this Court on Thursday last : — Police v. E. Odborne.— This was a case in which Osborne -was charged with assaulting Rudolph Peter. At the request of Peter, the case was withdrawn. G. Hawken v. H. Simpson. — Claim £2 for money lent. The defendant denied the debt, and the case was dismissed. A number of civil cases for the recovery of debts were heard, and judgment in each was given for the plaintiff by default.
