On Saturday, June 12, the Monthly Medal was won by W. Dales with a net score of 77. This player also defeated Miller in the final of the Club Handicap. . In conjunction with the medal the first round of the Captain's Prize was decided and resulted in Dales getting 3 points, Hamilton 2 points, and Bishop 1 point. . The Monthly .Medal for ladies resulted in a tie between Miss F. Walmsley and Miss L. Buchanan, both returning cards with a score of sfr net. * It was very noticeable on Saturday that some ladies shod with high-heel-ed shoes had done considerable damage to the putting-greens. Henceforth ,the green superintendent will request any lady wearing such footwear to remove her shoes before entering the greens. In the play-off on the local links to decide,the East Auckland Championship R.J. Hamilton, 190, beat H. Bray, 20*4. i An inter-club match will be played on the Waini' links between the Waini and Paeroa clubs on Saturday nex'..
