LICENSING POLL.
Steps fire now being taken for the appointment of scrutineers at the licen lg poll on Wednesday,' December -ok, under the Licensing Poll Act, passed during last session of Parliament. Under this new Act any ten electors who are in farour of " no-licenae " can nominate two persons to appoint, one scrutineer to act at each ballot box in the interests of those in favour of "nolicense," and similarly any ten electors against ((no-license" can nominate two persons to appoint one scrutineer to act. at each ballot box in the interests of those against "no-license."
