American Millionaire Denies Interest PA AUCKLAND, Dec. 11. A denial that he was interested in buying the liner Aorangi was given by the American millionaire, Mr J. R. Millar, when interviewed on board the ship this morning. Mr Millar said rumours that he was interested in purchasing the. ship from her present owners, the CanadianAustralasian Line, when she is put up for sale next February started erroneously when it became known on board that he was receiving radio messages concerning ships and large amounts of money. This information, he said, dealt with a law suit against the United States Maritime Commission by the American shipping line of Robert Dollar and Co. Mr Millar is concerned with the Dollar Line. To keep the ship on the VancouverSydney run, the Canadian Government would have to help with a subsidy, Mr Millar said.
