PALMERSTON SALE

Keen Competition One thousand one hundred sheep and 52 head of cattle were penned at Thursday’s sale. All classes of sheep met keen competition with North Otago and South Canterbury buyers securing the major portion, values were on a par with late rates. The cattle yarded were a mixed lot with only two or three pens of aged cattle, which sold at full market rates.
