Bishop Fitchett Resigns From High Schools Board The Government nominee on the Otago Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools’ Board, Bishop Fitchett, of Dunedin, has notified the Minister of Education, Mr Algie, of his resignation because of increasing duties in his diocese. The board decided to write to Bishop Fitchett thanking him for his long service extending over 21 years and hoping that he would not sever completely his link with the board. A minute of appreciation is to be prepared and presented to the bishop.
