PERSONAL
Professor A. H. Tocker, of Canterbury University College, has been appointed as observer for the Associated Chambers of Commerce at the Torquay conference on tariffs and trad®. This was announced at a meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce Council by the president, Mr J. B. Stewart, yesterday.
