PLUNKET SOCIETY
Middlemarch Branch At the annual meting of the Middlemarch branch of the Plunket Society held recently there was a good attendance of interested members. Mrs A. W. Kidd presided. In moving the adoption of the report and balance sheet, Mrs Kidd thanked tne secretary, Mrs B. D. Thompson, for her report on the year’s work, and Mrs Robertson for her work as treasurer, and also all committee members for their assistance throughout the year. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: President, Mrs B. D. Thompson; vice-presidents—Mrs Rutherford,’Mrs A. W. Kidd, and Mrs D. Mcßae; treasurer, Mrs M. Robertson; secretary, Mrs T. W. Ambler; press correspondent. Mrs A. Shanks; committee—Mesdames J. K. Allan, J. Black, T. Carruthers, D. Chisholm, J. Elliot, J. A. Jones. A. Pacey, F. Pedofsky, G. Robertson, R. Strang, C. Sutherland and C. Warburton.
