FURTHER STUDY ABROAD
Children’s Eye Defects PA WELLINGTON, May 15. Mrs C. A. Goldenberg, who is in charge of the children's orthoptic clinic in Christchurch, is to go to England for six months’ training in modern developments and methods of treatment. His recommendation to this effect had been approved by Cabinet, said the Minister of Health, Mr Watts, this afternoon. The Minister said the Christchurch clinic had been successful, and it was hoped to, extend activities to the other main centres as opportunity offered. In order to obtain suitable training personnel, two nurses had already been sent to the School of Orthoptics in Melbourne for 18 months’ training.
