RIBBON PARADE HELD
Otago Kennel Club A successful ribbon parade was held by the Otago Kennel Club on Saturday afternoon at Safetv Parking, Ltd. Mr R. Middleditch judged all breeds and the following dogs were the best of their sections: —Breed and Toy Stakes:- Mrs Thorpe's Pekinese. Terrier Stakes: Miss Spiers’s smooth fox terrier. Non-sporting: Mr Allpress’s rough-coated collie. Bulldog: Mr Wallace’s bulldog. Wire-haired terrier: Mr L. Nye’s terrier. A Labrador owned by Mrs Mitchell won its class, and a springer spaniel owned bv Mrs Stephenson was first in its class. Mr A. B. Fraser showed the best broken colour cocker ahd Mr Mason had the best solid colour. The best on parade was Mr A. B. Fraser’s Bullyboyne Bon Bon (cocker spaniel), and Mrs Thorpe's Pekinese, Choo-Lang of Sunset Ridge, was placed the best opposite sex on parade.
