American Counterfeit Ring Smashed

The Secret Service has smashed one of the biggest counterfeit rings in United States history, according to an announcement by the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr John Snyder. Ten ringleaders have been arrested in four months of intensive detection. The gang had printed bogus bank notes for 1.000.000 dollars, of which 45,000 had been passed in the United States and Canada.
