YOUTH CHARGED
REMANDED UNTIL JANUARY
A youth, 17 years of age, who lives in the country with his parents, appeared before Messrs H. S. Reid and J. C. Elliott, justices of the peace, in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning, charged with attempting to convert a motor cycle to his own use. Mr L. R. Simpson, for the youth, asked that the case be adjourned until January 18 next, when an application would be made to have the hearing taken before the Children's Court.
Senior Sergeant B. W. Wootton, for the police, agreed to this course being adopted, and the hearing was adjourned accordingly.
