OTAGO PLAYERS FOR GAMES TWO BROTHERS CHOSEN The Otago water polo team which took part In the New Zealand championship at Wellington returned to Dunedin by the first express yesterday. Two members of the side, the captain, C. N. Williams, and his brother, W. F. Williams, both members of the Dunedin Club, have been selected in the New Zealand team for the Empire Games. The former first represented Otago in 1938 and has been a member of the side ever since with the exception of the period he was serving with the forces overseas. W. F. Williams was first selected for Otago in 1940 and has played for the province regularly since then, apart from his period of service overseas.

Both brothers were prisoners of war, Neil Williams escaping from Italy to Switzerland, where he was interned. While in Switzerland he had opportunities to play water polo and take part in diving, in both of which he gained valuable experience. He has also represented Otago at Soccer and basketball, is a South Island Soccer representative, and a New Zealand basketball representative. Walter Williams has played senior Rugby, Soccer and basketball, and also figured prominently in amateur wrestling competition.
