PETROL SALES
The hours for the sale of petrol over the New Year holiday period in Dunedin will be:— Today, December 30: All garages open until 9 p.m. Tomorrow, December 31, and Sunday, January 1: All garages closed all day. Monday, January 2: All garages open 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. When garages are closed, urgent petrol may be obtained in accordance with the . regulations from the emergency station (Gardner Motors, Ltd., Moray place), which operates a 24-hour service for emergency sales. It is stressed that the emergency station will only supply petrol when the other stations are closed, and to those who qualify under the regulations. Local motorists are therefore urged to obtain their supplies during normal trading hours when all garages are open.
