MINISTER OF WORKS VISIT TO STATE HOUSING AREAS PA AUCKLAND. Dec. 29. Beginning his inspection of works in the Auckland area, the Minister of :.Works, Mr Goosman, today visited the Mount Roskill and Tamaki State 'housing areas. He was accompanied by the department’s district engineer, Mr W. L. Bell. “I visited the areas to see the land available there and with a view to redeeming our promise to the public to make sections available for private building,” said Mr Goosman. “There are plenty which we can release to the public.” Mr Goosman will inspect the proposed site for an international airport at Mangere tomorrow.
