FATAL CRASH I CAR OVER 100-FOOT BANK Special to the Daily Times GREYMOUTH, Dec. 26. A sedan motor car owned by Mr J. W. Barry, of Christchurch, en route to Westport from Greymouth, this mrrning left the highway near TweVveMile Bluff and crashed over a 100 ft bank, coming to rest some 80 feet down the bank from the roadway. One man was killed and a man and a woman were injured. They were:— Killed Archibald Duncan Cameron, aged 22, married, with one child, residing at New Brighton. Injured Mrs Cameron, mother of the deceased, aged 44 years, of Christchurch, wife of George Cameron, well-known New Brighton trotting driver and trainer, suffered head injuries and a broken nose. Condition serious. J. W Barry, abrasions to the face and back injuries. Condition satisfactory. The party was on the way to Westport for the Westport Trotting Club’s meeting, and it appears that the accident occurred a short time before 10.30 a.m.
