In a three-day match against the Commonwealth cricket team, the West Bengal Governor’s Eleven scored 122 in the first innings, Tribe taking 9 wickets for 50, and the West Bengal captain, L. Livingstone, being 57 not out. The Commonwealth team had lost one wicket for 19 runs at stumps.
