DEMONSTRATION FLIGHT
NEW SOLENT FLYING BOAT PA AUCKLAND, Oct. 14. The first of the four Tasman Empire Airways Solent flying boats, the Ararangi, which arrived at Auckland from Britain on September 29, will fly to Wellington on Monday for a demonstration programme. The aircraft will leave at 6.30 a.m., will circle Hamilton and Palmerston North each for 10 minutes, and will reach Wellington at 8.42, jtfr The Ararangi will be the flying boat to land on Wellington Harbour, Two flights will be made in Wellington, and the flying boat will probably leave Evans Bay on its return to Auckland late on Tuesday afternoon. Tasman Airways executive officers will make the flight to Wellington.
