BOATING CLUB’S CAMPAIGN
The Oamaru Boating Club’s learn-to-row campaign, which is held regularly at the start of each season, will be extended this year to two weeks’ duration. Intending oarsmen are invited by the club’s coaches to take part in the training programme. hut will be under no obligation to join in the sport should they find it not suitable. Present oarsmen in the club who have already been through a preliminary training programme speak of it as an excellent chance of learning a healthy outdoor sport.
