HAWKE’S BAY FRUIT CROPS HIT BY FROSTS
PA ’ HASTINGS, Oct. 13. This season’s stone fruit crops in Hawke’s Bay will be about 50 per cent, of the average crop as a result of a recent series of frosts, according to a preliminary survey. A more accurate assessment will be possible as the fruit, develops in size.
