For nearly 60 years a boulder has lain outside the Magistrate’s Court in Christchurch. its history almost forgotten with the passage of time. It came from the hill above Lyttelton, and was an exhibit used in evidence in a case heard in the court. Now it is almost hidden by a variegated shrub. '
