AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY The chairman, Mr F. McHattie, referred to the death of an old member, Mr John Keenan, at the monthly meeting of the Taieri Agricultural Society on Friday. Members stood in silence to honour the memory of Mr Keenan. It was agreed to install the latest boiler to produce a satisfactory hot water supply. Arrangements were made for catering, music, etc., for the next show, to be held at Outram on Saturday, November 19.
