RUGBY REPRESENTATIVES The Rugby team .selected to Represent South Otago in a challenge by Vincent for the Topp Cup, the match to be played at Balclutha on the King’s Birthday holiday, is:—Harvey (Toko), McKenzie (Valley), Robertson (Crescent), Codings (Toko) Murdoch (Toko), Haig (Crescent, captain), Turner (Clinton), Coll (Valley), W. Storer (Crescent), McLeod (Clutha), Muir (Clutha), W. McNab (Owaka), Mclntosh (Clinton), Hughes (Crescent), Williams (Clinton); emergencies—Cockerill (Clinton), McGuire (Crescent), Barrett (Crescent), Roy (Clinton) Burn (Toko). The game' between Toko and Crescent seniors at Milton on Saturday proved to be a dour struggle between two even sets of forwards, with only occasional flashes of back play. Crescent was without the services of L. Haig and A. Storer, both on the injured list. Toko won by 6 points (two penalties by Harvey) to 3 (a try by Hughes). Results:— Senior Grade.—Toko 6, Crescent 3; Clinton 16, Valley nil; Clutha 14, Owaka 11. Second Grade.—Lawrence 6, Clinton 3; Clutha 17, Toko 3. Third Grade.—Toko 9, Clinton 3; SOHS 9, Crescent 3; Clutha 28, Owaka 5. Fourth Grade.—SOHS A 12, SOHS B 6.
