VISIT OVERSEAS
DOMINION ANALYST ASPECTS OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS PA WELLINGTON, May 15. The director of the Dominion Laboratory and Dominion analyst, Mr F. J. T. Grigg, has left New Zealand on a visit overseas. He will undertake a general investigation into the organisation and development of the chemical services of the research laboratories of the countries to be visited and will, examine other specialised subjects. Mr Grigg is an authority on toxicology and the scientific aspects of criminal investigations and will visit Scotland Yard, London, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Washington. He hopes also to learn of other countries’ experiences of the effect of water on concrete dams' and pipes, and of methods of the disposal of paper pulp effluents.
