Dunedin has no cargo-carrying freighters in port at the present time the only vessel berthed here being the tanker Neritopsis, from Singapore and Miri. The Haparangi arrived at Port Chalmers eariy yesterday morning to load a cargo of refrigerated products for the United Kingdom. The 11,280-ton vessel Haparangi is one of the Norfolk class, and has been to Port Chalmers several times before. She is to discharge general cargo, and her arrival was two days ahead of schedule. The New Zealand Shipping Company's vessel Kaituna, from New York, via northern ports, is due in Dunedin with a general cargo to-morow. After discharge she will load for the United States and Canada before proceeding north to complete. Also due to-mor-row is the Viti with a cargo from New Plymouth. After discharge she will load and sail for Bluff to complete before sailing for Sydney and Melbourne.
