DOUBLE TAXATION
AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND DISCUSSIONS ON AVOIDANCE PA WELLINGTON. May 12. Discussions on the avoidance of double taxation, which have been taking place between Australian and New Zealand taxation officials, were concluded to-day, and the Australian officials left Wellington by the limited express to-night on their return to Australia. The Minister of Finance, Nash, said the department officials concerned in the discussions would submit reports to their respective Governments. He added that it was now expected that general trade talks between the two countries would take place in June or July.
