MILTON v RUGBY Two Rugby matches were played at Milton in fine weather, although the grounds were heavy. Toko 111 continued its winning way by defeating Crescent and maintained its position behind Clutha in the competition. The main g3me was between Toko and Clinton Seniors and was won bv the visitors by 5 points to 3. It was mainly a forward struggle with Clinton showing up in the line outs and gaining much more than its share of the ball from scrums. Toko XI went down to Crescent by 15 points to nil but it wins the game as Crescent was short of players and called the services of B. Haig and R. Matchett, two Dunedin Club senior players.
